In 2019, I assisted isobel in developing a campaign highlighting Savills worldwide property expertise. With a focus on voyage and discovery, the campaign featured charming typography set over bespoke vintage maps of the world.

We initially experimented with commercially available maps, however, finding ones that were detailed enough for region-specific ads proved to be difficult. So instead, we opted to create our own, for which I was primarily responsible.

 
 

Starting with basic stock maps, I developed and styled the geographical details for each region. Inspired by the team's research into vintage maps, I experimented with typographic styles, textures and colour palettes until the desired look was achieved.

To support the campaign toolkit, guidelines were created to provide rules for core layout principles, including headline typesetting, map positioning, and the blue message box.
